I try to stay engaged and compassionate although I'm finding that challenging these days. I still can take the time to help someone less fortunate in the grocery line or the less able to car.

I'm disappointed that the most meaningful news coverage in the US is from The Daily Show, The Colbert Report and NPR. I'm confused by recent headlines that seem to come direct from The Onion.

I am 21 years old. I live in Washington, and I am currently attending college. I like to mess around with my car, go to the gym, watch movies, and read from time to time. Also, I'm new to this site so... give me a holler!

I don't wanna right now, how about later... I have to put something in here right now. I really don't want to, I have other things I want to do right now. So I am just going to dump random thoughts in here. Oh wait, I think I am done. Wahooooo.... Is that enough fricken sentences?

I am ready to start the remainder of my life. After numerous years of change and upheval in my life. It has ment radical changes in who I am and some very difficult choices that have had to be made. However, I am finally ready to move forward with my life- which includes finding that special somebody and one day starting a family with them. I know where I am going in life (generally) and what it will take to get me there and am working to do what is needed.

My friends would describe me as a kind caring well mannered person who knows how to treat a lady with the respect that she disserves- others would call me a bit old fasioned in how I treat a lady- but that does not mean I am stuck in the past. I am seeking a partner in life, not somebody to be subservient to me.

The needs of thers will always be put above myself, especially my friends, family, and loved ones above myself. I will go out of my way to help them out as best I can.

I enjoy children which is the reason why I love my job (well my former job). I used to work as High School Deaf and Hard-of-Hering Para Educator/ Integrated Learning Center Para Educator (I used to work with students who have moderate to severe disabilities). I am now working for the DHS- Customs and Border Protection as an Agriculture Specialist (quite a change from education hu?) .

I am a very relaxed laid back person. I am very casual and not afraid to get my hands dirty working on something. I have a very go with the flow attitude but am also a planner and not afraid to stand up for what I believe in.

I am really just a big kid at heart and love to have fun (I love to ride all the little kid rides at Disneyland). I would love it if I could find somebody who shared this. I am not afraid to make a complete fool of myself for the kids I work with (one day when I was recycling with the kids I used to work with, I put a box on my head and went about as if nothing was out of the ordinary- all for the benifit of the kids I worked with). However, I also do have a serious side.

I love to work around the house and fix things. It would be wonderful if my partner was the same or is at least willing to learn. :)

I love to learn all that I can, as a result, one goal of mine in life is to visit all 50 states. I would love to visit places like historic Boston, Yellowstone, Disneyworld and the like, it is so much more fun to go with somebody else :)

Enough yimmer yammering about me. What about what I am seeking in a life partner. Somebody who wants to have kids (someday) is a must. Somebody who has similar interests. A love for kids and or teaching would be wonderful. Somebody who knows where they are going in life and what they need to do that- even if what they are seeking is years down the line. :)

I have aspirations, I have dreams, and I have things I wanna do. Which is really all just a different description of the same thing. I like street racing, when it is legally done. Though, illegally is fun too haha! As long as nobody gets hurt. Drifting and time attack is something I want to get more into with a car of my own. Simply because I absolutely love driving. At the very least I want to have a drift ready car that I drive daily and can take to the track every once in a while. I am a fan of motorcycles but would never be able to put myself on one... I prefer cars.

Hello. I always wonder if what I write on these things is really how I am, or just how I think I am. I just got married, so I'm taken, but if you are just looking for a friend, I'm right there with you. I like to learn new things all the time, and I spend time reading or researching whatever random crap interests me at the moment. If I had to pay for all the books I get from the library, I would be spending thousands of dollars a year. That is not to say that I read all of them- I have a somewhat short attention span. I prefer to spend time with small groups rather than large ones, and I would rather stay at someone's house than go to a club. I love to eat at restaurants, or to let others cook for me.

Self-summary? How do you summarize your life? Well, I graduated college with 3 AS degrees, which I followed up with a job that has nothing to do with them. Isn't that how it usually works. The good news is that for the most part I enjoy working where I do, which is good since I'm a chronic workaholic. When I'm not working I really enjoy spending time with my dog. I didn't realize how much I liked having a dog until I got her. I also as the weather starts to get better I have been learning how to do the whole garden thing. Surprisingly it's really fun and I can't wait for the days to get longer where I can spend more time out there. I'm not really sure what else to write, but if you want to know ask.
